I have a studio together with a friends but im looking into getting a setup at home also.
At home I prefer a Mac and I want to buy a new 27 inch imac.
The standard configurations comes with a 2.7 Ghz or 3.1 Ghz quad-core i5 but im not sure if its worth it to pay a bit more and get it upgraded with a 3.4 Ghz i7 quad-core.
I will be running Cubase 5 with NI complete, I’m running about 30 audio tracks at most but I like to use plugins.
Do you guys think the i5 CPU will become a bottleneck and I be better of going for the i7 or will the i5 be enough?
