Import Audio file but octave lower

Hi …

When I import an audio file it plays one octave lower than the original.

(16 bit 41,000 .wav or .aiff Cubase 10.5)

Please help.

My first thought is that it’s a different sample rate to your project. Try to convert the audio file in the Pool to match your project:

As it happens it WAS the sample rate of the file. All I had to do was go to projects and correct the original parameters of the file to 44.1 and 16 bit. It was originally 96 and 24 bit.
