There is an issue with import audio from file. I am also using a pre-configured workspace, HD to be exact. The first time I import an audio file from File at the top of Cubase 8 Artist, it works fine. When I go back to import another audio file, the File menu won’t work until I hit it at least 4 times. Then it restores down my workspace. I have to restore up the workspace to get the workspace lined up properly again. This never happened with Cubase 7 Artist.
