So I’ve finally upgraded from my long abandoned N3 to 13 in great anticipation…
Now, importing audio - it seems the dialogue choices are very limited. I’d like to be able to insert the audio at either a given bar number, or cursor position, or original timecode position of audio. These are things I can do with easily in Mixbus, but I must be missing something here as the only options on import in Nuendo 13 are - on separate or same tracks.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Manual doesn’t give me what I’m looking for.

It always imports to cursor. So I put my cursor where I want it, then I use a key command for “move to origin”. if I want it at it’s original time stamp.
The “Import Audio” menu item allows for quick import with little to none options, the events will be positioned at the cursor.
However, if you import the audio files into the Pool first or from MediaBay you’ll be given the choice to import them either at the cursor, or the left locator, or the original position (timecode).
For the Pool, first import the audio files as assets into the Pool. Then right click the desired asset.
