On Import Audio when you select a right and left track to import together tracks imported to Mojave cubase 10.5.5 plays these tracks back chipmunk style also the length is way shorter. you can only import the tracks 1 at a time and they sound fine and play back correctly… Won’t work correctly when selecting 2 or more tracks.

I believe the think you described is actually a different issue, which has been reported already.
If you import multiple files at once, and you change the sample rate of the files (because the files have different sample rate then the sample rate of the project is), only the very first imported file changes its sample rate.
Can yo confirm this is linked, please? Do you change the files sample rate?
It will be a sample rate issue, I had the chipmunk problem
