Import from Cubase didn‘t work

I‘ve exported a Cubase project and try to import into VST live.
The VST live project file is grayed out (vlsprj) after deleting the s in the suffix it‘s not grayed out but it could not loaded because it‘s not compatible.
Newest Cubase Pro, newest VST live pro, Apple M1

Sorry for jumping in but what kind of “Media Project” other than Cubase can be imported via “Import Media Project”?

vsttransit uses the same format, but afaik that cannot be imported into VST Live.
What do you suggest?

I’m just thinking if the import function would be easier to understand for users if the word “Cubase” were included.
Like the way it done in Cubase:

Export → Cubase → Import Media Project
-------->Cubase → Export Project

Just a thought!

Hi! I don’t think it necessarily, furthermore might be more confusing:
Users will probably try import CPR projects then… also what if new formats will be adopted later?
(Also it wouldn’t surprise me if nuendo would be capable to export2VST too)

Hi,

VST Live has a Media Project which can be loaded from Cubase and …

… Nuendo. That’s correct.

So, VST Live has the option to export a Song to a “Media Project”

And Cubase and Nuendo can import this “Media Project”.
