Hi,
Perhaps someone can help me get my head around this.
If I have a project (let’s call it X) in which this chord symbol looks like this:
…and then, in a different project (let’s call it Y) I use the “library manager” function, choose project X as the one to compare to and import from, then import all the settings (pressing the arrows so that everything is now ticked).
Should’t an Ebmaj7#11 chord look exactly the same as above?
This Is what I get instead:
Furthermore, I am getting many sorts of discrepancies between fonts and between styles, which I thought would now match.
Thanks if you’ll be able to help me get my head around this.

Can you please cut down the source project, i.e. the one that contains the settings you want to apply to a target project, and attach it here? It need not contain any actual music.
If you create a brand new project from a factory template and enter a Ebmaj7#11 chord symbol there, then use the Library Manager to import the settings from your source project, do you get the expected appearance in that project?
Hi Daniel,
Sorry I have just read this,
I will try your suggestion and get back to you later.
Thanks and best

Hi Daniel,
What you suggested doing works correctly.
There’s another thing that I cannot understand which is: how can I make sure that if I create a paragraph style, that is going to be show up and be available “universally” in every project I create or work on?
I though hitting the little star button for “save as default” served this purpose but it doesn’t
Thanks again for your help

as a related question, another thing I don’t understand is why some paragraph styles I have created get overridden by other styles if I use the “library import” function.
This is an example: I have created a paragraph style to write small cues. I want to preserve it “universally” and have it on all my projects. But I can’t find it unless I open the exact project I have created it in and if I use the import library function to add other elements to that project from newer projects I have, that specific style gets changed by a slightly mysterious other style (see screenshot)
Thanks again fro your help
