Trying to import midi from Studio 1: Do I need to convert to wave file or can you tell me the type of file I need to convert too.
If you exported your midi file from Studio 1, no need to convert anything, it is already a midi file you can import in Dorico.
Hi, Ray, and welcome to the forum! Just to clarify, Dorico does not currently import audio files such as WAV. You can import a video file such as mp4, for example to sync to a film score.
But also Dorico does not do anything like converting audio data to notation. That still has to be done manually. But midi imports easily.
Thankyou for your assistance. I was trying to import via one screen to the other but will in future save then import. Thankyou.
