Import project from cubasis 2 to 3

I have a project I have been working on in Cubasis 2 that I would like to have Cubasis 3 take over. The “Import” tool in the media bay can find the project file and make it its own, but it doesn’t copy over the Audio files. I tried doing that by other means, such as Imazing, and the same Import tool on the files in the Audio folder.

The project opens in Cubasis 3, all the tracks seem to be correct, with the “parts” in their correct locations. But there is just a single big “x” in the part, It obviously cannot find the Audio file.

Is there a way for this to work?

Thanks for your message.

Please give the following steps a try:

  • Launch Cubasis 2
  • Go to Media/Projects and select the project to be shared
  • Tap the “Share” button located bottom left
  • Tap “More” in the “Share” pop-up
  • Choose “Cubasis 3” from the list
