Import Tracks from Project Routing Problem

Hey Guys,

Whenever I’m importing a track from another project all the routing is messed up.
For example: I’m importing all the drums, bass, vocals from a project.
Drums has Kick Group that is routed to a DRUMS group, a snare group that is routed to the DRUMS group and everything else (room, oveheads, hihats) is also routed to the DRUMS group and my DRUMS group is routed to the stereo out.
My bass track which on the source project is routed to the stereo out, is now routed to the drums group, my vocal track which on the source project was also routed to the main stereo out is now routed to the drums group.

Is anyone also noticing this ?
I’m on Cubase 13.02, macOS Ventura.

Did you also import the DRUM group channel?

yes… That’s why the Drum tracks that were routed to the drum channel were correctly routed but the other tracks that were routed to the stereo out were not.

This has been a mess for a long time… but I’m too tired of nagging on about it :frowning:
Do a search in the forum, and you should be able to find the thread/threads where I and others are discussing the issue
