Import Weirdness

I imported a song into a songbook i am creating, and the title look is mis-spaced. The title is fine in my project info.

What happens if you delete the title from the Project Info > Apply > and re-enter?

That’s what’s weird, too. It won’t delete. I’ll delete it from the field and it’s ā€œgoneā€ but when I hit apply, it doesn’t change on the score. Then, when I launch Project Info again, the flow title is there. I did, however, delete and rewrite it with lowercase letters and that showed up on the score, but there was still a space between the apostrophe and the s.

Can you upload the project but with no music?

not sure what you mean

Save as whatever you want, select the notes, delete, send that

Lol, i’m utterly confused. You want me to send the one document with the title error but with no music in it and upload it here on this platform? Or the entire project with all the flows? Why delete the notes?

btw this only happens on import. when i open the original document, the title is fine. However, the 1st page master page is a lot different, tho it’s not affecting the other songs that have been imported.

DANNY’S SONG_NO Notes.dorico (571.9 KB)

Try changing the font and see if that makes any difference.

The title displays correctly for me – but I don’t have the Heiti font that you’re using. I wonder if there’s some issue with that font.

It’s the Font.

This is in LibreOffice
