Imported WAV sounds off pitch even after being converted

Hey guys,

I’m just wondering why my imported WAV file sounds off (flat) even after I convert it to match my project settings.
The file is 48Khz 16bit and my project settings is 44Khz 24bit.

So I just go to the pool and convert the file to match the project settings, it’s creating a new file, but then playing it back it’s still off pitch.

What am I doing wrong?

Have you activated musical mode?

No, I verified that it wasn’t activated

No I mean have you tried activating it

Yes sorry I didn’t respond well, I tried to active and deactivate, it didn’t make a difference
