Importing 16 channel Broadcast Wave

Hi,
I received from TV 16 channel Broadcast Waves. I can import them to Cubase session, but I hear something only in left channel. I know it’s multichannel, so it doesn’t surprise me. I want to convert it to stereo , so I import new version using slpit option and then I get 16 empty tracks. Does enybody knows something about this format?

what does the waveform look like when imported?
you should see 16 lanes in the waveform when imported without conversion
