Understand that MusicXML is an incomplete file transfer solution and you cant expect files to come across identical. You cant blame Steinberg for that, Work on the MusicXML standard progresses VERY slowly.

One significant difference has nothing to do with Music XML. You use different fonts for both music and text in the two included files. Try changing the text and music fonts in your Dorico file to something more similar to what you were using in Finale. These can be changed under Dorico’s Library menu. Also, wrt the large empty space in page 2 of the Dorico file, adjust the justification setting under Vertical Spacing in Dorico’s Layout Options.
