I have created an empty project (from the top down - viloins 1+2, viola, cello, guitar, piano), using the ARIA player with Garritan GPO5 instruments. I want to import from Finale files that have three staves (separate channels) - guitar + piano. No matter what I do (via xml or MIDI), although once imported (directly or copied from a second flow), they play, but apparently all on only one (the first, violin 1) fader. The instruments are all arranged on Port 1, Channels 1, 2, 3, etc. There must be a simple way to distribte individual channels to individual faders. I am obvioulsy missing something here, but what/where?
Which Aria player are you using?
In case of the multi-player you have to assign different output channels to each slot.
Multi-VST x64, each instrument is on a different channel and has its own fader, but everything plays back on the first fader
It’s the little “1/2” text on each slot. (Shown here is the single-output VST, which is why they are all grey.)
You have to use a different pair of numbers for each output.
