Importing Generic MIDI Files Auto Loads HALion Sonic SE

Hi Folks,

I’ve noticed that when I import generic MIDI files (in this instance, some transcriptions of classical music) HALion Sonic SE loads with no prompting from me.

Is this a preference that I missed? I prefer that no VSTi load when I import generic MID files.

Aloha Dan,
Yes there is a preference under:
Preferences—>MIDI—>MIDI File—>Import Options—>Destination.

Select ‘MIDI Tracks’ in the pop-up.
