Importing MIDI Markers but not as separate track

Hi,

Is it possible to import a MIDI file that contains markers in cubase so that the Marker track does not dissolve into a Marker track ( stay in MIDI track as events)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

In the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI File > Import Options, there is the Import Markers option. What would happen, if you would disable it? Would be the Marker ignored or imported as you wish?

If I remove the check it ignores it. In fact, it creates one marker track ( empty) and below it a single midi track ( I have auto dissolve for format 0 OFF) for me.
