For a piano piece, I read where extending the carat down into the bass clef allows both hands to be recorded simultaneously on the appropriate stave. But I have not found this to be the case. Either one or the other stave displays the notes. But it is not distributed on both. Any clue how to resolve this will be very appreciated.
Where did you read that? Extending the caret only works for normal note entry, not recording. Recording will automatically split across a grand staff instrument.
