I need help importing scores from Finale into Dorico. I followed the instructions in the tutorial video. The first problem is I do not get the same screen as in the tutorial. I’m on a Mac if that helps. Secondly, I imported the score, but it only imports the first few pages. After that all the staves are blank! I have so many scores to import and I’m not impressed that the only help option in Canada is this board.

Can you see a peculiarity regarding notation at the point where the import stops specifically related to voices (layers in Finale) and tuplets.
I had the same problem in one Finale file and the reason was an irregular triplet.
Another possibility is to modify the MusicXML import preferences of Dorico by deselecting as many options as needed.

Indeed, as @Vadian says, the issue is almost certainly due to a tuplet in the Finale file that Dorico is tripping up on. If you attach the Finale file itself here, we should be able to figure out what’s causing the problem.
I think many here would say that, if you only have one option, access only to this forum is the luckiest option. Many users here consider this forum, with its access to many knowledgeable users as well as constant access to members of the development team itself, is a real blessing and often preferable to other avenues of support.

Thank you. I will look that up and see if that is an issue. As far as the Dorico selections in MusicXML, that’s one of the problems - I don’t see that window as in the tutorial. Not sure if it’s a Mac issue??
