I’m sorry, there is a known bug. 
If this is enabled in the window, you close the window and reopen it, it looks like enabled (in the GUI), but it is not. You have to disable it and enable it again. Then it works.
This is a bug that cost me! It deleted a drum track from another project which I had to get back in a session drummer to redo a song. All while the artist watched. Very embarrassing. I never figured out what happened until you said just now theres a known bug. This should be in red writing on the top of the forum its such a potentially dangerous bug. I havent used the feature since
