Importing video into Cubase

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to download and import Youtube videos into Cubase to practice film scoring existing movie scenes.

First of all, how do I download Youtube videos onto my computer. What file format, etc…

Then from there, once I have the correct format of the video, I assume I just import the file into a video track and away I go. Hopefully it’s that easy to get me up and running. Then it’s just a matter of lining things up and creating hit points(markers).

Here are the supported formats for Cubase.

You’ll have to find a software downloader by searching online for recommendations…try to find one that creates the format you want and that doesn’t try to change your search engine and add other crapware to your computer!!
