Importing Video into elements 11

Hi
I am trying to import a MPEG-4 video (550mb) into elements 11, but nothing seems to work. Tried dragging and using the import facility but nothing it just drops out??

Hi,

Please read through the Video support in Nuendo, Cubase, WaveLab and Dorico article.

MP4 is merely a container that may contain several video codecs (or none at all), and the same goes for audio.
You need to know what kind of video you have inside that container and if it’s not in the supported codec table (mentioned above), re-code it into something that is supported for sure.
Personally I prefer ProRes for many reasons, but you can stay with MP4 only re-code the video into h264 even though it may not playback as smooth as ProRes or other simple formats.
