importing wav file - only static

Hi,

I’m very new to WaveLab 8 (elements), and I’m having an issue importing .wav files. When I open a wav file in wavelab everything visually seems fine, but playback only has static…any ideas why this is happening?

Hi,

Are you sure it’s a wav ? check with other wav’s too !

check with other app and playback wav file, works ?

move on and check with “MediaInfo” it is a wav file ?
check settings in VST Streaming Settings inside WL
settings for built in audio or external sound device
