This process doesn’t work: change instrument in dorico - Google Search
I’m writing Clarinet etudes. The first one is in Dorico, I di dthe next few in Finale. When I open Flow 2 and import the xml from Finale I only have score. There is no clarinet part like in Flow 1.
When you import xml into Dorico a new flow will be generated. After the import make sure to assign the clarinet instrument (that is used in the previous flow) to the new flow. You will need to do this in Setup Mode. Then switch to Write Mode, and in the new flow copy and paste the clarinet music into that system.
Btw. you don’t need instrument changes for this process (that’s what you googled for).
