Since I started using my Magic Keyboard, I use Dorico on my iPad nearly every day when I’m away from my desktop. Having real keys has significantly improved my workflow.
However, there’s one thing that slows me down considerably: selecting a range of notes. I understand that the iPad version is primarily designed for touch input, but the way the selection tool (see screenshot) works is quite different from the desktop version and less efficient when using a keyboard.
I’d like to suggest a future improvement: Could Dorico for iPad activate the selection mode when the Shift key on the Magic Keyboard is held down, and deactivate it when the key is released? This would make selecting notes much easier and more intuitive—just like on the desktop version—and would remove the need for an extra manual step. The same way Cmd could be used to select particular notes. Thanks for considering this suggestion!
