In- and Out-points of MIDI event are not shown

Hi there,

this issue occurs on Cubase 12.0.70 as well as on Cubase 13.0.10.
When I select a MIDI event in a track, there are no as I call it “in- and out-points” (sorry, I don’t know what they are called exactly, but I don’t mean locators) in the key editor and I cannot collapse or expand the midi event.

I have this behaviour for a few months now but since I recently upgraded to Cubase 13 and the issue still exists I wanted to ask if any of you guys know how to fix this.
Since I don’t know what these in- and out-points are called exactly I don’t know what to search in the manual for and didn’t find an option for this in the preferences.

Can you please help me here?

System: Macbook Pro early 2023, M2 MAX, 96GB RAM
OS: macOS Sonoma 14.1 (problem existed with Ventura too)

Finally found it.
It’s a setting called “Show Part Borders” in the key editor.

I must have accidentally turned it off at some point.
