Hi

I have purchased Waves Tune Real-Time among the other Cubasis in apps some years ago but this one is not installed on my new iPad Pro M5. I have also 2 older iPad Pros with Cubasis 3 and both does have Waves Tune Real-Time installed. I have only 1 Apple ID. Cubasis 3 shop is asking me to buy Waves Real-Time plugin again although I’ve already paid for it. Is there a solution?

I recogn you did the “restore purchases” in the inapp shop?

There is no ”restore purchases” option on my Cubasis 3. Only Cubasis 2 has it visible but I’ve done this purchase on Cubasis 3. Cubasis 2 restores and transfers other in apps without problem.

Ah.. i dont know when they removed the restore option.. it used to be in cubasis 3..

Earlier last year somebody also complained about a missing restore option (ios) and back then the dev team’s answer was:

So i dont know what happend but i just checked on android and couldnt find the restore text either :man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

One could try to re-install Cubasis 2 on the device with Cubasis 3 installed (without the IAP) and do the transfer purchases procedure once again?!

I’ve already tried twice to reinstall twice Cubasis2 bot nothing changes. Only older in apps like Waves plug-in bundle that I’ve purchased with C2 installs to C3 without problem. Tune Real-Time wants me to pay 2,99€.

Hi @PJL10,

Did you purchase the Waves Tune Real-Time IAP in Cubasis 3 or in Cubasis 2 (and then transferred it to Cubasis 3)?

Also, are you using Cubasis 3 or Cubasis LE 3, and do you have the same app version installed on all your devices? This is very important because In-App Purchases are specific to each app version and cannot be shared across different versions.

No matter what, we’ll make sure to get your issue resolved.

I purchased it december 2020 on Cubasis 3 with my earlier iPad Pro. I have also Cubasis 2 installed because of in app transfers. These are the only Cubasis versions I have on my 3 iPads (iPhone too but that’s not my biggest trouble now..)

Waves Tune Real-Time is installed and working on my other 2 iPads.

If i look at App Store on my iPads there the in app-plugin says bought. Nevertheless only on my newest iPad it isn’t installed but it want’s me to pay.

I haven’t tried to re-install Cubasis 3 on my newest iPad yet but I think this is the next step?

Thanks for your message.

Important Note: Never uninstall Cubasis without first backing up all your projects and files, as they will be lost otherwise.

Aside from this, uninstalling Cubasis is not required or helpful to resolve this issue.

Here are the steps to restore your in-app purchase:

  • Make sure you are logged in with the same account on your new iPad that was used for purchasing the in-app purchase.
  • Ensure you have the exact same app version installed (e.g., install Cubasis 2 if the IAP was purchased in Cubasis 2).
  • A – If you purchased the Waves Tune RT IAP with Cubasis 2, follow the steps in this article to transfer it to Cubasis 3.
  • B – If you purchased the Waves Tune RT IAP with Cubasis 3, tap SHOP and then Restore purchases (located at the top right in the shop).

Please let me know if this resolves your problem.

I’m logged in with same account that I’ve always had. The problem is that I don’t see any ”restore purchases” on Cubasis 3 on my current iPad. I tap Shop and in app list opens but there is no restore option. I see many in apps bought and installed but not Waves Tune RT.

Cubasis 2 has ”restore purchases” and transfer options and they work as expected but that’s not helping because I did the purchase with Cubasis 3. Very strange I think..
