Daniel, I’m revisiting this to see if there is any solution on the horizon. I had completely forgotten this was a problem, since I and all my colleages had been entirely on PC. But now that I’m using Mac on laptop and PC on desktop (and that’s what I want my workflow to be), I’m seeing that the lyric positioning is quite different. One of these is exported from PC, one from Mac:
The font I’m using, Trinite no. 1, has these metrics:
I see that, unlike Trinite, Academico has the same metrics for Typo Descender and Win Descent:
Please, please tell me there’s a solution. Can I modify the metrics to make this equal on both Mac and PC? If so, what metrics should I use? If changing one to match the other will fix it, I would rather change the Mac metric, as I have only two dozen files exported using Mac, and many more using Windows.
I can of course try this myself, but I’d prefer to ask before I meddle. Thanks.
