Hi. I’m using a Novation Launch Control XL. It has 8 faders, with 3 rotary pots per fader. In my project I make the first 8 groups (named 1-8) to be 8 groups of my track; Bass, Kick, Hats, Snare etc… I created a midi remote mapping in a project so that I could have the volume of these 8 groups controlled by the 8 faders on the Controller. I also mapped the rotary pots for each channel to control an FX send to 3 FX.
I would like to be able to use this setup for multiple projects, however when I switch to another project, which also has the first 8 channels as 8 groups of tracks, the controls do not work the same and instead fader 1 might control the volume of a completely different group channel. In the mapping assistant the mappings do not show in the same order.
How can I ensure that the mappings remain the same for all projects with this particular channel arrangement (first 8 groups being the groups I would like to control), plus 3 FX sends.
