I was wondering if Dorico’s playback tempo of irrational meters is incorrect or if I messed up something along the way. I have a couple of 7/20 bars that play at the exact same tempo as 7/16 bars, while they are supposed to be in ‘quintuplet pulse’. Does anybody have any observations about that?
Dorico doesn’t automatically handle metric modulations for these kinds of time signatures. For the time being you would be recommended to add absolute tempo markings manually and hide them.
