I remember reading recently in another post that one can increase the rhythmic value if a note in increments by pressing either Shift/Right Arrow or Option/Right Arrow (I can’t remember which). But when I try both of those methods it does not have that effect. When I click Shift/Right Arrow Dorico simply selects additional notes and rests in succession and when I try Option/Right Arrow it simply takes the current note value and moves that same value to the right leaving rests in it’s wake. Can someone clarify?

Thanks so much. I should have written it down when I read it. I have now.
Pressing the ALT/OPT key is required to make changes to selected items. This makes it harder to inadvertently modify things. There will be another key in addition to that to specify what it is to change.
