In the example below, I need to make some small adjustments to the cue. But when I do, that adjustment is global. I’d really prefer to be able to move these elements independently.

But, of course, you know that sometimes it does, and that is the dilemma. In some scores one might wish to force a cue in the score for an alternate instrument that can substitute for an absent player while still suppressing those cues used only in players’ parts to help them prepare for an upcoming entrance.
Perhaps down the road Dorico will provide a means to differentiate the two types of cues. I suppose for now one must copy from one part to another, reduce the size of the cue notes, and suppress their playback as a work-around.
