Independent tempo text placement in separate full score layouts

Is there a way to adjust the placement of tempo text on two “full score layouts” independently? I have done a lot of formatting on a full score layout and choral score layout (each created as a “full score layout” in one Dorico project), but I can’t seem to nudge the tempo text (or rehearsal marks) on one score without them being automatically adjusted on the other.

If the text positioning cannot be engraved independently on the two “full score layouts”, would recreating the choral score as a “custom score layout” allow for the differentiation I’m looking for?

Are you adjusting the visual position of the tempo marks or the actual starting point at which the effect takes place on the two layouts?

You should be able to physically position th e text differently onthe two scores. Make sure you are setting the marks to Local rather than Global.

Ah, that’s it! I was properly nudging in engrave mode, but had not noticed nor tried the “Set local properties: Local/Global” option. Toggling it to Local allows me to adjust as desired.
