Independent time signature lay-out problem

I’m composing a piece with independent time signatures. Entering them in the score is no problem, but they are causing lay-out problem with bars split in half over the end and start of two pages.
If I insert a system or frame break at a shared barline (see arrow in attached image), this only results in that the very same problem then occurs at that point. I have no idea how to solve it, can’t find anything in the documentation or on internet.

Apart from the fact I’m probably overlooking an option, I’m afraid it’s either not supported in Dorico, or it’s a bug.

If someone has a clue, please let me know!

Don’t know if this preference helps.

I guess if the independent time signatures are structured in a way that they only rarely share a common bar line, then there is no good solution for page turns. They inevitably will have to happen right in the middle of bars, right?

How would you like Dorico to handle this?

Thanks, this did the trick! I didn’t know of this option, but now I do.:slightly_smiling_face:

I unticked it and then I could create the break at the desired point. Now the score looks much better!
