Independent time signature

Hey guys

Can someone please tell me how can I have 2 time signatures in one bar , e.g. piano violin , 6/8 violin - 4/4 Piano .

 Thanx

To adjust time signature on only one staff, select the first note of the bar, shift+M, then input your “6/8” in the popover and press alt+enter. Do the same on the other staff, with “4/4”.
alt+enter is the way to enter this kind of property on one staff only (works for Key too)

Thank you very much

How does this work on iPad? Option+enter doesn’t work.

This has already come up in the forum (last week?)
I think the problem is there’s no alt key on the iPad, but something might come up to fill the gap…

Yes, unfortunately at the present time this isn’t possible on the iPad version, for reasons as yet unexplained, but we plan to try to fix this as soon as we can.

I searched before I posted.

I have never tried to use the iPad version of dorico without the physical keyboard which has an option button.

Is there an equivalent of this alt+enter shortcut for mac? I’m not sure how to get independent time signatures without the alt key.

I believe the opt- key is the Mac equivalent.

Thanks. That definitely helped.
