Independently playback/control the soprano and alto voices in one (common) channel in the mixer

Hello!
Is it currently (or hopefully in the future…?) possible to independently playback/control the soprano and alto voices in one (common) channel in the mixer without having to create a new instrument channel for each voice (S & A) in the score?

I don’t know much about this but:

Hello Daniel!
Thank you very much for your quick answer! That worked!

But is it also possible to re-name the down-stem-voice to “Alt” in the mixer? At the moment it shows me “S.” (down-stem-voice)

@lycalp I have Dorico Pro 5 and have just spent a while seeing if I could do as you suggest, as it would be very useful. Unhappily, no joy. Maybe one of the Steinberg guru’s can comment.

If one is not using lyrics, one could always create two S. players with different names and Condense them.

You can double-click the label at the bottom of the Mixer fader to edit its name. Due to a small bug you may not see the new name until the project has been saved, closed, and reopened.
