Perhaps I am too lazy to read the manual. But I have a piano score that starts with a hairpin with no dynamic mark building up to ff. What is the default starting dynamic in Dorico?
I know the MIDI value depends on the power curve, and also there is emphasis on strong beats and so on, but what is the dynamic in terms of p/f etc?
If memory serves, it’s more or less mf.
