Initializing plugins suggestion

Every so often I do something that makes Cubase decide to intialise plugins at next startup. This can be really frustrating if you just want to get on with something quickly. Last night it took 10 to 15 minutes. I have about three generations of NI Komplete (now doubled with Automap-wrapped files) and probably ought to remove old versions but you never know when you might need them for an old project. What do other people do other than sit and wait?

One thing I’d like to suggest is that, instead of pop-up initialisation error messages requiring user input, any error messages are logged and displayed when the program finally opens. Then at least you wouldn’t have to baby sit the startup and also you’d have a record of the problems which otherwise are OK-clicked away.

A progress display would be nice too: “Intialized 17 of 1,478,234 plugins”.

It only happens twice a year for me (when shifting between summer- and wintertime).
