I have been this problem for a couple days now. I have been recording everything I have at 44.1 kHz and 24 bit but now every time I start a new project it is automatically set to record at 96 kHz and 36 bit and everything that I have recorded prior is now ruined. On top of that I always use an empty template to get started and now before anything tracks are even put in, the input clip indicator is full and says it is constantly clipping. When I actually play my guitar though it is not clipping at all and I have even turned the gain knobs on my 2i2 and the clip indicator in Cubase is still full and clipped. I have no idea what is going on here. I did not have this problem at all a couple days and then out of no where this happens. I have recently bought an MPK25 and thought it was that causing the problem but I now have it unplugged completely and still have the problem? Anyone know what is going on?
