I can find no references in the user manual to the Input/Output Channels folder that is present on the Project window.
Does anyone know if it is documented anywhere?
If a project has inputs and outputs, why are they not in this folder?
What is the folder for?
You enable automation on the I/O channels in the mixer and they appear in the project window. They are automatically assigned to a folder (same as groups etc are). If you delete the channel from the project window it still exists but you’re now left with the folder which can also be deleted.
It’s how it’s worked for as long as I can remember but maybe one day they’ll make it more consistent with other channels.
