Input source for recording in Cubase 13

Hi everyone,
according to this Dom Sigalas video it should be possible to select any track as an input source for recording in Cubase 13 but I can’t figure out how to do this… (I’ve searched in the manual but I still haven’t found it…)
If I select input in Routing Tab I only see my audio interface physical inputs…

Thank you,
Art

I guess, audio tracks are not supported as inputs. They are also missing in the list shown in Dom’s video. FX, instrument, sampler and group tracks should work, though.

Hi @Martin90,
in this Steinberg page they seem to confirm what you say but I can’t find how to activate the thing:…
I would like to understand how…

I’m quite sure there’s a way to record an audio track as an input as well as I’ve seen a video recently explaining it in Cubase 8.5 when recording VST guitar amps but now I think it’s possible with direct routing (I still have to examine it, anyway)

Thank you for answering,
Art

The answer is here I guess :+1:
