Inputs and outputs - no sound

Think I must be missing something, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I had a Presonus monitor station that I used to control various volumes from my laptop, dj decks etc. This died this week so I’m now trying to control things directly via the 816.

For example DJ Decks - going out the DJ mixer into any inputs on the 816 1&2, 3&4 etc. via jack to jack. Outputs of my 816 1&2, 3&4 are linked directly to powered speakers. I have no sound either in the speakers or headphones.

Same issue going from my business laptop directly into inputs on the 816.

Works fine on my music desktop which is attached via firewire although only the speakers from outputs 1&2 work.

Have you run MR editor to set up the connections?
