Hi,
Since the update to cubase 13 I no longer see input devices ( microphones and other USB audio input)
I have checked and permissions for the microphone is enabled for Cubase on my mac
I am on cubase 13.0.20
Please help.
Hi,
Make sure Cubase has enabled Mic in the System Preferences, please.
Open macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone. Enable Cubase here.
What Audio Device do you use? Could you attach a screenshot of the Audio Connections > Inputs, please?
As shared microphone access is already enabled. will share the inputs screenshot tonight from home
Attached are two images
one shows the audio input devices… I have Logitech microphone as well as SPD SX pro as input, which is not shown by Cubase only that device is shown whose driver is selected in the studio setup > audio system
Here in the drop-down all devices are shown, but I cannot use spd sx pro as input device to record audio
Hi,
Cubase works with one Audio Driver only.
I am trying to use input device and record in a track
Does this mean that I would not be able to select input from other sound device amd have to switch device if I need to record from another device ?
Hi,
If you need to use multiple Audio Device, make the Agregate Device on the macOS side.
Officially it’s not supported by any DAW, you could have some timing issues, if you would use an inputs from multiple Audio Devices at once, but this will probably not be the case, as you will use one device as an input and other one as an output.
