Inputting Clefs while Cross beamed

Hi, I write a lot for harps. This means there is a lot of cross-beaming involved.

The issue here is that if I have a part cross beamed, it will input the clef in the original staff and the cross-beamed staff.

Here is an Example:
Here I have a part that Is cross beamed

I need to input a bass clef in. If I highlight the region and click [Shift+c]
it will input the clef on the top staff.

so The only way I can Input the bass Clef is to drag and drop the bass clef in some other measure.

Hopefully, I’m not missing something here.

To expand on what I mentioned in my post a little further up the page: If you cannot insert the caret at the desired location, insert it somewhere nearby and then use the arrow keys to move it to another location - up or down to move onto another staff in the same system, or left and right to move into another rhythmic position in the same staff. When it is where you want it, use the Clef popover. This procedure might not be exactly what you are asking for, but it works.
