Hello!
I would need to write a multi-note tremolo on sixteenth triplets but
I dont know hot.
heres what i have so far
Thank you! I did not know actually how to enter them with popover,
so it was veyy usevful infro for me.
However, i did not find a possibiliy to enter tremolos with sixteenth triplets.
Maube it is not possible?
You can create multi-note tremolos on any pair of notes. Perhaps you can show an example of what you are struggling to create?
Hi @darkneutron, look at this enlightening post (and thread):
This is incorrect. All the quarter notes should be dotted.
Six 16th’s = One dotted quarter
oh right.
bit if i put from this position
3:6y
I end up with this
and cannot ontinue from there
however, when i want to enter eight notes with dotes under 6 tuplet, it works.
But maybe i am doing smth wrong
This thread should help you…
Hi @darkneutron, following the suggest post instructions, I made a little chart with the steps for two types of dotted tremolo tuplets, with the tuplet values shown, for clarity, in case it could be of some help:
Dorico file:
Dotted Tremolo Tuplets.dorico (611.3 KB)

You may want to adjust these two Engraving options:
For a quite amazing explanation of how it works see this post by @johnkprice :
Thank you! It is very helpful!
But it is impossible to set the playback to play it correctly, right?
@darkneutron
You can add a staff for those bars, and write down the exact notes for playback, and suppress playback for the original notes. Then you can remove the staff again or, better hide it with manual staff visibility: the playback of the added staff remains even if the staff is not visible:
Video example (before hiding the staff with MSV or removing the +1 Staff deleting the signpost):
Thanks!
I tried hiding them in staff- manual staff visibilty
but still it shows on the score
what should i do?
anyone?
I think they play back correctly anyway, and you don’t need ossias at all. I can’t check right now (reading the forum on my phone).
