Inquiry about Cubase crashes related to atio6axx.dll

I am using Cubase, and several plugins crash upon startup.
The cause is indicated as atio6axx.dll, but has anyone resolved this?
It is also seen in various places that AMD’s software, Adrenalin, is the cause, but I don’t really want to remove it as it is useful for recording and GPU control. Downgrading did not resolve the issue.

There have been several threads about this in the past, but I still haven’t been able to resolve it.

If upgrading to Cubase version 15 resolves the issue, I will consider purchasing it.

version: Cubase Pro 13.0.55 CPU: Ryzen7 9700 GPU: Radeon RX9070

I’m attaching the dump file.

Welcome to the Forum.

Your crash is clearly related to the AMD graphics driver atio6axx.dll

This happened pretty often when Cubase 12 and 13 were the latest releases, I haven’t seen many reports, here in the Forum, about this lately with Cubase 15.

But the only known solution was always to remove Adrenalin, because of its specialized features.

If you absolutely want to keep Adrenalin you could do a test with the latest Cubase 15 and see if that works with it. You can install the trial release next to your current version and see if the same crash happens.

I tried the demo version of Cubase 15, and all the plugins that were currently causing crashes started up without any issues.
While I have reservations about paying $150 to resolve this crashing problem…
Thank you for your support.
