Hello, thank you in advance for your help! How many effect sends can a single global stack handle in VST Live, and how many effect inserts are available for global stacks? I’d need at least 4 sends, and I’d like to understand the insert options. I’m really looking forward to using this live, as the application is becoming more and more complete!
there are 4 insert slots within the STACK container
and there are 8 inserts and 8 sends slots for it’s channel in the mixer.
Means 12 insert slots for a single STACK… but keep thing simple, don’t overcomplicate your signal chain. Always keep in mind, for a STACK all inserts needs to be handled, processed, etc… on a single core and relatively in realtime. Rather would suggest involving SENDS too as much as you can
And best of all… route it to the group (for global stack or song group for not global) and you’ll have additional 8 inserts and 8 sends. Guess what? Route it to another group and another and another…
The only limit is the power of your computer, not the count of inserts/sends and plugins.
