Insert a blank region in cubase

Hey guys how do you insert a blank section in the timeline of cubase?
In between sections of a song i just want to be able to put blank parts

Put your Left Locator where you want the silence to start & the Right Locator for how long you want it. Then use Edit>Range>Insert Silence
