Have been inserting Cues, all fine, but when I get to a ‘kit’-type Percussion part, after typing Shift-U to summon Cue box, when I type name of cue source player, only percussion instruments (in that kit list?) appear.
How can I make Dorico summon from the full ensemble instrument list, for this part?
You can’t add cues with pitched instruments as their source to unpitched staves. You could add a pitched instrument to the same player and give the cue to them, and handle excess instrument change labels etc manually.

It’s interesting that rhythmic cues can be included for pitched instrument parts.
