Insert effects - no sound change

Using Cubasis 3 on a new iPad Pro using the UR22C - following a Cubasis tutorial on how to record guitar tracks.

Chanel is set, Got a signal, I can monitor in headphones but on the tutorial he inserts effects (Amp Sim) and gets a range of different sounds and tones, I do exactly the same and get no change to the original input signal (infact all effects don’t seem to work - reverb, delay - nothing?

Searched for a solution and found nothing

Would appreciate a way forward with this

Please give our Getting started with Cubasis tutorial a try, which guides you through all the main steps to produce a track with Cubasis. Alongside, please note that the YouTube description includes jump markers, too.
